Tom Petrie

Thomas C. Petrie is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelors degree in Nutrition. He was Nutritionist with the Pritikin Longevity Center in Garden Grove, CA and Nutritionist for the Total Health Foundation in Albany, NY. He has been a guest on WABC radio and local TV.

He is a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN), with the New York State Department of Education since 1996. He recently completed his first book on the subject of preventing and reversing heart disease (awaiting publication). This book is co-authored by Michael B. Schachter, M.D., Medical Director of the Schachter Center for Complementary Medicine. (Click here for more information on Schachter Center for Complementary Medicine) His second book, is a critique of anti-vitamin articles that so often appear in various media outlets. He lectures frequently in the New York metropolitan area.

Bruce Castor

Between the Minutes welcomes back Montgomery county Commissioner Bruce L. Castor, Jr. to the show. Commissioner Castor served as Deputy District Attorney from 1991-1993, from 1993-1999 he served as First Assistant District Attorney supervising daily operations of the office, and acting D.A. in the absence of the District Attorney.  He was elected district attorney of Montgomery County Pennsylvania November 1999 and was re-elected in November 2003.  In November of 2007 Mr.  Castor was elected as Commissioner of Montgomery County Pennsylvania.  Throughout his career he has received many Awards including a citation from Gov. Casey in 1990, and as recent as 2009 an Award from the Trial Lawyer Honor Society.
